Rondo is a wood-burning outdoor fire pit. The natural elements of fire and stone are combined together in a simple and modern way, thanks to technology and craftsmanship. A sculpturesque furnishing element, Rondo fireplace lives in every outdoor situation where an important stage presence is required. A good sized group of people can gather around Rondo, creating a convivial and seductive focal point in the garden. Ideal for open spaces, gardens, parks, terraces, hotel outdoor areas, golf clubs, and so on.
The fire pit is made up of a steel framework with the visible components finished in oxidized steel, which is given a special treatment to prevent corrosion. The round sitting surface is in Santafiora trachyte stone, finished with great artisanal skill. Santafiora trachyte, an Italian stone, is very versatile, refined and precious, with a predominant hazel coloring. Being a natural material, the stone€™s grain can vary depending on the different period of extraction. Rondo is supplied with a steel cover plate to cover the combustion chamber which isolates the fire residual ash, in order to prevent the escape of residual material in the case of rain or wind. When in operation, the upper stone part of the fire pit does not overheat. With the dedicated stainless steel grill kit (sold separately) the fire pit can also be used as a barbecue.
